About It's Just Groceries

It's Just Groceries is a browser-based simulation game where you take on the role of a grocery store manager. Schedule your team, plan your week, manage orders for ads and endcaps, conduct interviews, and execute the day shift-by-shift while juggling shrink, spoilage, employee morale, and your sales goal.

What you can do

• Build a weekly schedule from your hour pool.
• Assign daily tasks to staff based on department experience and preferences.
• Order ads, endcaps, and inventory in light/heavy quantities.
• Hire new applicants and grow rapport between coworkers.
• Compete against escalating corporate sales targets.

How it's made

The game runs entirely in your browser. Progress is stored locally — there is no account to create. The site is built with React and TanStack Start.
